Lake Access:

While Gideon Bay itself does not have a marina, boaters enjoy convenient access just across Sunrise Point at Tonka Bay Marina on Echo Bay. This premier marina spans six acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and offers over 100 deep-water slips, each equipped with easy-access water and electrical hookups. Tonka Bay Marina is also home to Lake Minnetonka’s largest and most advanced travel lift system, providing state-of-the-art lift services available to the public by appointment.

Amenities:

The real estate on Gideon Bay is mainly residential. The exception is Old Orchard Park, located next to Tonka Bay City Hall. Old Orchard Park has a swing set, barbecue grills, and fishing piers. The city of Tonka Bay owns Old Orchard Park and offers annual dock slips to residents, boat slips, and canoe racks available to rent. However, it is essential to note that the dock slips have a several-year waiting list.
