Location Highlights:
North Arm Bay is just north of Crystal Bay and west of Maxwell Bay. Locals say that North Arm Bay is the best place for recreational water sports like tubing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing. The homes on North Arm Bay are located in Orono within the Orono School District. The Orono School District is ranked among the top 5 public schools in the state of Minnesota. Fishing is popular on North Arm Bay, the fish species most commonly found on the bar are Walleye, Northern Pike, Crappie, Perch, and several different species of Bass.

Water Quality:
The maximum water depth in North Arm Bay is 60 feet, and the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District gives North Arm Bay a B in water quality. Meaning the water is generally good, but algae may limit swimming towards the end of the summer.

Lake Access:
North Arm has one boat launch, owned by the city of Orono, North Arm Launch is less than 5 minutes from downtown Spring Park. The launch’s convenient location gives easy access to all Lake Minnetonka has to offer.

The shoreline of North Arm Bay is largely residential, but nearby in Crystal Bay is Noerenberg Memorial Gardens. The 73- acre garden offers rental space for weddings and large events, it is well known for its beautiful greenery and picture-esque location. In the other direction, on West Arm Bay, is Lord Fletcher's Old Lake Lodge. The restaurant has docks available to customers, it is easy to tie up and grab a quick bite to eat at this Lake Minnetonka staple.
