The lake is managed by The Lake Sarah Improvement Association whose primary goal is to promote policies and practices that represent and protect the interests of Lake Sarah property owners and enhance their enjoyment of Lake Sarah. The association also helps to influence the overall water quality of the lake and helps to promote the Walley stocking program the association funds. Other lakeside amenities include The Lake Sarah Regional Park, located on the southwestern side of the lake, which offers a great place to picnic and launch your boat. The nearby Lake Sarah off the leash dog park encourages dogs to run and play in the 30-acre fenced dog off-leash area.
