The lake was named for the wife of Burritt S. Judd, an early settler to the area. There is no public boat access, but through the Greenwood Shores Park, the public is permitted to carry-in small watercraft via the small channel that connects Lake Lucy and Lake Ann on the Southside of the lake.
Homes for sale on the lake are located in the Eastern Carver County School District.
