MINNETONKA SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Minnetonka Public School District is among the highest-performing school districts in Minnesota and the nation and proudly serves families in all or part of 10 communities: Minnetonka, Chanhassen, Deephaven, Eden Prairie, Excelsior, Greenwood, Shorewood, Tonka Bay, Victoria, and Woodland. In addition, students from 45 other Minnesota school districts attend Minnetonka schools through the state's Open Enrollment program.
Minnetonka High School graduates 98 percent of its students, and 90 percent are college-bound. The Class of 2018 posted an average ACT Score of 27.7, and 80 percent of this class took at least one Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) class during their high school career.
The Minnetonka Public School District serves approximately 10,900 students in grades K-12. Our students attend one of six elementary schools (grades K-5), two middle schools (grades 6-8), and one high school (grades 9-12). In addition, our birth-to-five Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) program serves families and children during the most critical early developmental years. More than 20,000 learners of all ages take advantage of educational opportunities offered through Minnetonka Community Education programs.
