History:
The history of the Locust Hills neighborhood dates back to 1875, when Herbert M. Carpenter acquired the land. In the early 1900s, its original name was Carpenter Farm, and Carpenter utilized the land to raise livestock. The farm shut down in the 1930s shortly after Carpenter's passing, and his wife changed the name to Locust Hills in 1933. For a short period in the 1930s, the neighborhood was a small country club. In the 1950s, the land was subdivided and sold off to developers. Since then, the area has been home to some of the most luxurious homes in the area.

School District:
