Lower Lake

Grays Bay, Minnetonka Public Landing 

The Minnetonka Public Landing is located directly on Grays Bay and is five minutes from downtown Wayzata. The public boat launch has free parking, making it effortless to trailer boats in and out of the water. The Grays Bay launch has three launch lanes, 112-vehicle-with-trailer parking spaces, and public restrooms. 

Carson’s Bay Boat Ramp 

The Carsons Bay Boat Ramp, located on Minnetonka Boulevard in Deephaven, is tucked away in the no-wake Carsons Bay. The bay has an A water quality rating determined by the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. The public water access has free on-site parking, making it easy to trailer boats in and out of the water. The Carsons Bay Ramp has 17 vehicle-with-trailer parking spaces, a public restroom, and two launch lanes. 

Lake Minnetonka West Half 

Upper Lake

Maxwell Bay Launch

The Maxwell Bay Launch is located on North Shore Drive, 10 minutes from downtown Wayzata. Boaters can launch up to four trailers at a time, and the launch has on-site vehicle-with-trailer parking spaces and a public restroom. The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District reports the public water access on Maxwell Bay has a maximum water depth of 43 feet and is known for its excellent fishing conditions. 

North Arm Launch

The North Arm Launch is on the bay’s southern end and North Shore Drive in Mound. The public water access has two boat ramps, an on-site parking lot with ten vehicle-only spaces, 51 vehicle-with-trailer parking spaces, and a public restroom. 

Spring Park Boat Ramp

The Spring Park Boat Ramp is on Shoreline Drive in Spring Park, next to the Water Patrol Office. The boat launch has a small on-site parking lot of 7 spaces, but a block away at the Hennepin County Public Works Building, vehicle-only and vehicle-with-trailer parking spaces are abundant. Spring Park Boat Ramp can launch three boats at a time. 

Surfside Boat Ramp - Cooks Bay

Surfside Boat Ramp is located on Cooks Bay, t he public access launch is conveniently in the heart of downtown Mound and has an on-site parking lot. Overflow parking extends onto Bartlett Boulevard. 

Halstead Bay Boat Ramp
Halstead Bay Boat Ramp is located on Halstead Drive in Minnetrista, Minnesota. The public water access is on the west end of Halstead Bay. The Halstead Boat Ramp can launch two boats at a time and offers free on-street parking on Halstead Drive.

Lake Minnetonka Regional Park Boat Launch - South Upper Lake 

The Lake Minnetonka Regional Park Boat Launch is on South Upper Lake Minnetonka near Smithtown Bay. The public water access has two launch ramps, an on-site parking lot accommodating 55 vehicle-with-trailer spaces, 100 vehicle spaces, and a public restroom. A Lake Minnetonka Regional Park parking pass is required to park in the on-site lot. The launch site's central location on Lake Minnetonka and South Upper Lake has a maximum depth of 84 feet.
